A collection of tees and hats that fuse archival Marvel images with Stussy’s iconic graphic language. Stussy scoured comic book conventions, eBay, and local comic book stores for old issues with classic covers that would mold well with Stussy’s design aesthetic. Scanned from the original comic books and rare collectors' posters from the 1960's - 1990's, the tee designs capture the essence of the characters, the texture of vintage comic books and the soulfulness of the Stussy brand

Daniel Clowes for Stussy (03.29.2011)

Daniel Clowes is a cartoonist, author and Academy Award nominated screenwriter. Best known for his comics Ghost World and Eightball, Dan is one of the most respected voices in modern alternative comics. For our Spring 2011 collection, we asked him to channel Stussy through his world. The result is a series of tees that display his unique style and sense of humor.

Stussy sends prayers and condolences to the people of Japan and the Japanese American community following the recent tragedy. The friendship and loyalty of the Japanese people have been a blessing to Stussy and to the streetwear community. We are deeply saddened along with the rest of the world by the latest events. We are confident that they will recover and get through this difficult time.
